Children explore a wide range of combined arts activities such as drama, dance, puppetry, film, photography, music, storytelling, craft and experiment with different artistic techniques such as oils, watercolours, inks, spray cans, clay and charcoals. The day is broken into workshops where visiting artists inspire the children to explore their creativity. Creative Kids Arts Education Centre – School Visits

In September 2018, Creative Kids will be opening our Arts Education Centre in the day to County Schools for Arts Educational visits. Classes of children will participate in a two-hour digital arts workshop and will learn how to create a stop-motion animation film including story boards, character development and creation and stop-motion app on iPads. All children who attend will receive a ‘Discover Arts Award’ – starting them on a long-term learning journey through arts education up to GCSE level. The Workshop will be led by a professional artist and the setting will be supported by our Arts Manager. The workshops are suitable for children age 8 – 14. We are particularly interested in reaching disadvantaged children or those with SEN – those eligible for Pupil Premium are our key target learners. If you are interested in booking a visit to help inspire the next generation of digital leaders, please give our head office a call to discuss your requirements.
